When the crop is ripened, that is, the crop is ready, the process of cutting it is called harvesting.It takes three to four months for the crop to be ready. Harvesting of crops is done by sickle. Nowadays harvesting of crops is done by diesel or petrol powered harvester machine. After harvesting of grain, the grain is rosemary. Or is separated by threshing which is accompanied by a peel which is separated by the process of Osai.
